The latest issue of the “Jockey Club Advanced Sports Coach Theoretical Certificate” will start on February 3, 2020. The course content covers professional and in-depth theoretical knowledge of sports coaches, coach management and sports science. The local trainee internship enables trainees to master the skills of coaching in Hong Kong and meet industry needs. The six-month course consists of ten units and a coaching internship, including 66 hours of face-to-face hours in class, 150 hours of non-face-to-face hours, 30 hours of internship hours, and 2 hours of introductory introduction. The number of hours is 250 hours. This course is recognized as QF Level 3 under the qualifications framework.
In addition, elite athletes can also apply for the “Elite Athlete Coach Training Program”. If the participating athletes pass the exam and meet the attendance requirements of the course, they will be issued relevant certificates and refunded the full math fee.
The course will start in February 2020. It will be held at the Hong Kong Institute of Physical Education every Monday and Thursday from 7 pm to 10 pm. We sincerely recommend that interested and eligible students to participate. The deadline for registration is: Friday, January 3, 2020.
