“Meet the Media” press conference of the Hong Kong, China Rowing Team for the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022
Today, the Hong Kong, China Rowing Association (HKCRA) held a “Meet the Media” press conference to introduce the rowing athletes who will be competing at the 19th Asian Games 2022. The event provided the team with an opportunity to share their goals and prospects for the upcoming games.
“We are prepared to risk everything for the coming last 12-weeks of training,” said CHIU Hin Chun. “The team has received the most systematic training ever from Head coach Kenny WU, and the whole team had a dramatic improvement.”
“Our goal is to fight for at least two medals in the Asian Games 2022, and shows the abilities of Hong Kong Rowing Team to the world,” said Coach WU. “It is a great challenge for the team in the Asian Games this year due to the pandemic, and we will try our best in every session of the coming 12-weeks of training.”
The 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022, which will take place from September 23 to October 8, 2023, will bring together athletes from across Asia to compete in a variety of sports and events. The Hong Kong rowing team will send a team with 14 males and 9 females talented athletes who will be showcasing their skills and abilities at the games.
