We regret to inform you that the 10th Hong Kong Rowing Coastal Championships will be postponed due to the impact of Typhoon SAOLA.
The current projected movement of SAOLA means that even if the T3 signal is lowered by late Saturday afternoon and conditions have improved by Sunday, we will not have sufficient time to fully prepare boats and the required infrastructure, which must all be completed on Saturday, to safely hold racing as scheduled.
We have therefore taken the decision to reschedule the event.

We are actively working with RHKYC and relevant authorities to identify a suitable alternative date for the Championships. We will communicate the revised schedule as soon as it has been finalised, together with information on handling of entry fees and related issues.
