39th Hong Kong Rowing Championships “Rowing. VIVA Shing Mun” Kids Drawing Competition

“VIVA Rowing on Shing Mun River”
Sometime when you walk along the Shing Mun River at Sha Tin, you may see some people rowing on the river. So, what is Rowing? The drawing competition held by Hong Kong China Rowing Association (HKCRA) provides a chance for you to discover the beautiful Shing Mun River, also feel the energetic moments from day to night of the rowing athletes.

Submit the artwork with the completed application form to the following address in PERSON or by MAIL:

Age Groups
Group A: Aged 4-5
Group B: Aged 6-8
Group C: Aged 9-12
Submission Guidelines
- Each participant should NOT submit more than one entry.
- Size: 420mm x 297mm, A3 size paper.
- All artwork must be two-dimensional (2D).
- We accept poster color, water color, crayon, oil pastel, color pencil etc. as painting media
- Substandard size / non-paper / vertical / bend / paste glitter or 3D artworks will not be accepted.
Prize
Champion, 1st Runner-up, and 2nd Runner-up for each category and Merit Award, prize winners will be awarded as follow:-

Result Announcement
The result will be announced at our website www.rowing.org.hk and Facebook Fan page in mid of October 2017 and prize winners will be informed personally.
Exhibition
All the submitted artworks will be displayed at the Sha Tin Rowing Centre during the race days of 39th Hong Kong Rowing Championships (28-29 Oct 2017).The artwork of champion of each category will be printed on the souvenir bag and to be distributed to all participants from local teams and overseas teams.
Awards Presentation Ceremony
Awards Presentation Ceremony will be held in conjunction with the Medal Presentation Ceremony of the 39th Hong Kong Rowing Championships on 29 Oct2017 afternoon. All winners and their parents will be invited.
