Hong Kong China Rowing Association

The 10th Hong Kong Rowing Coastal Championships were successfully held on 21st January 2024, at the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club. The race course entered the waterway of Victoria Harbor for a 4km race.

A total of 12 events were held throughout the day, including Men’s and Women’s Solo, Open Double Sculls, and Coxed Quadruple Sculls, with over 200 participants competing.

The rowers expressed that racing in Victoria Harbor was a unique experience compared to the Shing Mun River race, as the influence of wind direction and current gave them different sensations. They expressed their desire to participate in various coastal rowing races in the future.
