Team HK representing in 2022 Asian Rowing Championships & Asian Junior Rowing Championships at Thailand after 3 gap years
The Hong Kong Rowing Team will be participating in the 2022 Asian Rowing Championships & Asian Junior Rowing Championships from 29 Nov to 4 Dec at Ban Chang, Rayong, Thailand. Team HK entered a total of 33 athletes, including 20 men and 13 women to participate in single, double and quadruple events. Top tier teams in Asia including China, Japan, Korea and Iran are all participating in the Championships, which makes it a great opportunity for team HK to gain valuable insight and prepare for the coming 2022 Asian Games.
Chiu Hin Chun, Rio Olympian and 3-time gold medalist in the 2022 HK Rowing Championships, will compete in Lightweight Men’s single sculls; Lam San Tung will partner with Wong Wai Chun again in Men’s pair event after achieving their best time at the World Championships.
Tokyo Olympian, Winne Hung Wing Yan will partner with Wong Sheung Yee in Lightweight Women’s double sculls; while Poon O Yu and Leung Wing Wun will compete in Women’s double sculls.
